Balancing of the central nervous system with the musculoskeletal system is what Neuromuscular Therapy does. The goal is to help relieve pain and dysfunction by understanding and alleviating the underlying cause. It is used to eliminate trigger points, which cause referred pain, restore postural alignment, proper biomechanics, flexibility to the tissues, and assist venous and lymphatic flow. It can also be used to locate and release spasms and hyper-contraction in the tissue. I also use Myofascial Therapy & Sports Bodywork in conjunction with NMT in a complete intuitive therapeutic bodywork session. I concentrate on your problem areas to release restrictions of muscle and joint range of motion.
